BSMS (Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery) is an undergraduate program in the field of Siddha Medicine. Siddha Medicine is one of the traditional systems of medicine in India, believed to have originated in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is based on the principles of the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, and ether) and the three humors (Vatham, Pitham, and Kabam) which are believed to govern the human body.

- Pharmacology and Materia Medica: This includes the study of Siddha Medicines, their preparation, and their uses in treating various ailments.
- Pathology: Students will learn about the causes and nature of diseases according to Siddha Medicine principles.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: This includes the study of diagnostic techniques such as pulse diagnosis and tongue diagnosis, as well as various Siddha Medicine treatments like herbal remedies, massage, and yoga.
- Specializations: BSMS students can choose to specialize in certain areas of Siddha Medicine, such as Gunapadam (pharmacology), Sirappu Maruthuvam (special medicine), and Kuzhanthai Maruthuvam (pediatrics).
