About Course

D.Pharm or Diploma in Pharmacy is a two-year undergraduate diploma program that provides education and training in pharmacy. The program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge required to work as a registered pharmacist.

During the course of study, students will learn about topics such as pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutical engineering, drug administration, and hospital and clinical pharmacy. They will also learn about the legal and ethical aspects of pharmacy practice.

  • (4) Pharmaceutical Analysis: This subject covers the methods and techniques used for the analysis of drugs and medicines.
  • (5) Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy: In this subject, students will learn about the role of a pharmacist in a hospital or clinical setting. They will learn about drug storage and distribution, drug interactions, and drug therapy monitoring.
  • (6) Pharmaceutical Engineering: In this subject, students will learn about the design and operation of pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
  • (7) Drug Administration: This subject covers the various routes of drug administration such as oral, topical, parenteral, and inhalation.
